 ëàáîðàòîðèè ìîäèôèêàöèè ãåíîìà (çàâ. äîêòîð áèîëîãè÷åñêèõ íàóê Ì.Ä.Êèðíîñ) èçó÷àþòñÿ ìåõàíèçìû àïîïòîçà ó ðàñòåíèé, îðãàíèçàöèÿ è ìîäèôèêàöèÿ ÄÍÊ ïðè ðàçâèòèè ðàñòåíèé. Ïîêàçàíî, ÷òî ñòàðåíèå ó ðàñòåíèé ñîïðîâîæäàåòñÿ ñèëüíûìè èçìåíåíèÿìè â ìåòèëèðîâàíèè ÄÍÊ, îáðàçîâàíèåì íåîáû÷íûõ ìèòîõîíäðèé è ñóïåðïðîäóêöèåé "òÿæåëîé" ìòÄÍÊ. Ãðóïïà Á.Ô.Âàíþøèíà òðàäèöèîííî çàíèìàåòñÿ èçó÷åíèåì ìåòèëèðîâàíèÿ ÄÍÊ. Óñòàíîâëåíî, ÷òî ìåòèëèðîâàíèå ÄÍÊ òêàíåâî ñïåöèôè÷íî è êîíòðîëèðóåòñÿ ãîðìîíàìè. Ïðåäëîæåíà îðèãèíàëüíàÿ ìîäåëü ðåãóëÿöèè òðàíñêðèïöèè è ðåïëèêàöèè â êëåòî÷íîì öèêëå ìåòèëèðîâàíèåì ÄÍÊ. Ïîëó÷åíû ôóíäàìåíòàëüíûå äàííûå ïî ñòðóêòóðå ðàçëè÷íûõ ÄÍÊ (îïèñàíà ÄÍÊ öèàíîôàãà, ñîäåðæàùàÿ âìåñòî àäåíèíà 2-àìèíîàäåíèí, è äð.).
 ëàáîðàòîðèè ñòðóêòóðû ãåíîìà (çàâ. äîêòîð áèîëîãè÷åñêèõ íàóê Ã.È.Êèðüÿíîâ) èññëåäóþòñÿ îðãàíèçàöèÿ õðîìàòèíà è àêòèâíîñòü èíäèâèäóàëüíûõ ãåíîâ.
Ëàáîðàòîðèÿ òîïîãåíåçà áåëêîâ (çàâ. äîêòîð õèìè÷åñêèõ íàóê Â.Í.Ëóçèêîâ) çàíÿòà èçó÷åíèåì ìîëåêóëÿðíûõ îñíîâ ñáîðêè âíóòðèêëåòî÷íûõ ñòðóêòóð. Íà îñíîâå äàííûõ ïî îòíîñèòåëüíîé óñòîé÷èâîñòè ñèñòåìû îêèñëèòåëüíîãî ôîñôîðèëèðîâàíèÿ ìèòîõîíäðèé ê äåéñòâèþ ðàçíûõ äåñòðóêòèâíûõ ôàêòîðîâ ñôîðìóëèðîâàí ïðèíöèï ñòàáèëèçàöèè ôóíêöèîíèðîâàíèåì.  ñîîòâåòñòâèè ñ ýòèì ïðèíöèïîì íåïðàâèëüíî ñîáðàííûå ñóïåðìîëåêóëÿðíûå ñòðóêòóðû, íåñïîñîáíûå îñóùåñòâëÿòü ñâîè ôóíêöèè, ïîäâåðãàþòñÿ ýëèìèíàöèè. Ýòè èññëåäîâàíèÿ ïðîâîäÿòñÿ ñ èñïîëüçîâàíèåì òðàíñãåííûõ äðîææåé, ýêñïðåññèðóþùèõ êîìïîíåíòû ÷óæåðîäíûõ ìóëüòèôåðìåíòíûõ ñèñòåì.
